KOCSEA Young Faculty Award (K-YFA) is to recognize outstanding early-career faculty in computer science, computer engineering, and closely related fields.

Award

  • $1,000 cash prize
  • Recognition at the KOCSEA Annual Conference followed by an opportunity to present the research/work.
    • Travel support may be available.

Eligibility

  • Current KOCSEA member
  • Holds a Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
  • Earned Ph.D. this year or less than 7 years
  • Currently employed as a full-time faculty at a university or college in the United States
