Direction to UNLV TBE Building

The building is accessible from the Flamingo Road. From the hotel, just follow Flamingo Road east. (From I-15, exit on Flamingo road and drive east. From the airport, follow the Swenson street north, and make a right turn at Flamingo Road.) On Flamingo Road, make a right turn at Claymont Street, and then make a left turn at Cottage Grove Avenue. UNLV campus is located south of the Cottage Grove Avenue.

You will see a 6-story parking structure on the right (#85 in the parking map).
Park at any space in the parking structure except in the reserved lots. There is a $3 daily parking charge on Friday. A parking permit will be distributed by our staff members. Please look for KOCSEA sign at the parking lot to get a decal. Place it on the car’s dashboard. There is no parking fee on Saturday.

The TBE building (#61 at the parking map) is at the southwest of the parking structure. The Auditorium is accessible from the first floor entrance.

Hotel Reservation

We have a block of rooms reserved for Thursday and Friday nights and paid directly from KOCSEA. Do not call the hotel to make a reservation. Instead contact the local chair (Prof. Jongwook Woo at jwoo5@exchange.calstatela.edu) and have him make a private reservation under your name. Any additional nights should be purchased directly by the individuals. Our group rate was $54/night. We encourage members to look for low cost accommodations at nearby hotels.

From the airport to Bally’s hotel (2 options)

From the Bally’s hotel to the UNLV campus

  • We will operate the van twice each morning at 7:35am and 7:55am. Van will leave at the hotel lobby area.
  • If you cannot make it, take a cab and show this map to the driver. It is about 1.5 miles.

Direction from the Bally's hotel.

  1. Exit the hotel to Las Vegas Blvd.
  2. Turn left at Las Vegas Blvd and walk to south toward Planet Hollywood hotel (a few minutes walk).
  3. At Planet Hollywood hotel, do not enter the Casino, instead enter the restaurant from the street.
  4. Ask for KOCSEA group dinner.
