To Fellow Korean-American Computer
Scientists,
We are excited to write this letter to you on behalf of KOCSEA (Korean Computer Scientists and Engineers Association
in America) and invite you to the KOCSEA symposium 2009.
KOCSEA is an organization of
Korean-American researchers in Computer Science and it has
been serving the community since 1983. One of its main
activities is the annual technical symposium and we are
proud to have its 10th technical symposium this year. This
year's symposium will be held at University of Nevada, Las
Vegas, from 12/18 (Fri) to 12/19 (Sat) for one and half
days. It will provide a forum for exchanging innovative
ideas, forming new collaborations, and identifying research
and funding opportunities. The single-track symposium will
comprise: invited talks, panel discussions, KOCSEA business
meeting, and interactions with local students.
We are honored to invite you to this
distinguished meeting of KOCSEA symposium 2009. We are
inviting top Korean talents in Computer Science and
Engineering, who are active in Academia and Industry in the
US and Korea, at various career stages from assistant to
senior professors, from junior researchers to a VP of global
corporations. KOCSEA has been offering strong networking
opportunities to Korean-American computer scientists across
US and Korea, and its members have been building lifelong
friendship with other members. We are especially welcoming
new members to the symposium to share this wonderful
opportunity. Past symposium programs and the participant
lists are available
here.
Once again, your participation will be
very important to make this symposium successful. If you
have any question on the symposium or KOCSEA, please do not
hesitate to contact any one of the organizing committee
members.
We hope to see you all in Las Vegas in December!
Best regards,
KOCSEA Symposium 2009 organizing committee
